Profit…

“To be free is not merely to cast off one’s chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others”. Nelson Mandela.

Profit trumps conscience, 2020

This work is the beginning of a new series with social implications. Currently unframed due to the new difficulties resulting from Covid-19, something I hope to rectify before the exhibition at Sam Scorer Gallery, Lincoln in October. In the meantime, this has been selected for the online exhibition through the Lincolnshire Artists’ Society. This replaces the Usher Gallery exhibition which cannot now take place.

  1. There are another two pieces in the pipeline in this series which may evolve in very different ways. My creative streak has been somewhat blunted recently – life in the slow lane. Our October exhibition has been rolled over to June 2021 and the last Lincolnshire Artists Society exhibition was an online one.
Time has enabled me to explore a wider variety of art and to learn some new techniques, but I do miss workshops with colleagues which I hope will take place in 2021.
    Stay safe and well.
